I’m Lauren
I am a long time event director that has worked with and at event venues throughout the Hudson Valley. Over years (and years and years…) of my work with incredible couples and specialized event vendors I have seen again and again the details that really make an event special, personal, and a true reflection of the joy and love of a couple. With Halve Maen Events, I made it my goal to pull these special event enhancements together into one streamlined library of event decor to make it functional and and most importantly, accessible for every couple.

My journey into decor and event planning began when I realized how much I enjoy organizing and designing meaningful celebrations both for myself and others. Over the past 10 years, I’ve combined my passion for event details and creativity to help clients turn their visions into reality. My goal is to build events that reflect your personality and leave lasting impressions.

Despite years of big city lights in NYC and LA, I’m a Hudson Valley girl at heart, this region really defines who I am as a human. Over the years working with the unique venues throughout this region, I’ve seen how special little touches can make an event feel like magic. That’s why I’ve spent the time to collect a killer library of antique, vintage and modern decor, and fun little (and big) elements to enhance the feel and vibe of your special day, all in a package for one flat fee. I come with a tool kit of all of those fun wedding perks you’ve put on your Pinterest board, but can’t figure out how to budget for, or make happen, all in one place. A splash of vintage Airstream for the perfect lounge backdrop, some of those killer live edge wood tables for your cocktail hour lounge, a sprinkle of vintage rugs lining your ceremony aisle… heck maybe a little classy black and gold popcorn machine to bring some more whimsy to your after party. All of the elements that make a Hudson Valley wedding pop with personalization and style.
